¡Hola!
Me alegra mucho de verte por aquí.
Tengo 2 pasiones: pintar y enseñarte a pintar.
Vengo de Buenos Aires y llevo conmigo a “La Bella Italia” en mis genes. De pequeña me fascinaron los colores. Crecí viendo un cuadro de Murillo. Al poco tiempo descubrí a los impresionistas. No sé cuándo ni cómo, no lo recuerdo. Monet, Sisley, Pissarro, Renoir, Van Gogh y más tarde… el gran Sorolla. Aún hoy guardo dentro de mí esa primera sensación ante la pincelada suelta y esos colores radiantes.
Comencé a pintar con 15 años y fui descubriendo poco a poco pinceles, mezclas, técnicas… Tan pronto como pude me metí en talleres y seguí descubriendo. El arte tiene un poco de tela de araña: te va atrapando de a poco y no puedes salir… Es como comprar un billete sin destino fijo. Sabes que quieres llegar pero no sabes adónde vas. Y no llegas nunca a la estación final, porque siempre hay algo nuevo que aprender.
La vida me llevó a distintos lugares, con distintos paisajes y gentes. Mis cuadros tienen un poco de todos ellos.

I’ve got 2 passions: painting and teaching how to…
I was born in Buenos Aires and I take “La Bella Italia” with me in my genes. When little, colors fascinated me. I grew up staring at a Murillo. Soon after I discovered the impressionists. I don't really know where or how, I don't remember. Monet, Sisley, Pissarro, Renoir, Van Gogh and later... the great Sorolla. I still keep that first sensation towards that loose paintstroke and those radiant colors.
I took up painting when I was 15 years old and little by little I started discovering paintbrushes, mixtures, techniques... As soon as I could, I joined ateliers to keep on discovering. Art is a bit like a spider web: it traps you little by little and then you won't be able to go out... It's like buying a ticket without a destination. You know you want to arrive, but not where you are going. And you will never reach the last station, since there is always something new to learn.
Life took me to different countries, with different landscapes and people... all my paintings have a little of all of them.
Estudié dibujo con el Prof. R. Sanjulian (Buenos Aires); acuarela, acrílico y óleo con Prof. C. Dartiguelongue y E.Serna (Buenos Aires); sumi-é (aguada japonesa) con Prof. Y.Takagi (Buenos Aires) y profundicé mis estudios de pintura al óleo con mi maestro S. Stitchkin, (Santiago, Chile).
Asistí a talleres de perfeccionamiento en Sao Paulo (Brazil), con los Prof. C. Ibelli, N. Camargos y E. Raposeiro y en el 2do "Maestros de la figuración" 2nd Figurative con el Prof. Antonio López García y J.J. Aquerreta (España).

Muchos de mis cuadros han estado en exposiciones de Argentina (1986-87), Chile (Soc. Nacional de Bellas Artes y otros, 2003-07), Brasil (2004), Japón (2010), Reino Unido (2011; 2017, 2018), España (2007-2021), Alemania (1993 y 2013), Suecia (2018) e Italia (2011-2021); otros tantos están colgados en casas e instituciones de USA, Argentina, España, Canadá, Inglaterra, Chile e Italia.
Exhibitions
Many of my works have been exhibited in Argentina (1986-87), Chile (National Society of Fine Arts and others, 2003-07), Brazil (2004), Japan (2010), United Kingdom (2011; 2017-2018), Spain (2007-2020), Germany (1993 and 2013)m Sweden (2018) and Italy (2011-2020), and many others are hung in houses and institutions in USA, Argentina, Spain, Canada, England, Chile and Italy.

Me encanta enseñarte a pintar, soy docente de alma: he tenido alumnos de todas partes, en Chile y en España. En la actualidad, doy clases de manera privada.
Desde abril 2014 dirijo el blog cristinadelrosso.blogspot.com donde te cuento historias del mundo de la pintura y sus artistas.
El punto de partida siempre es una emoción que te quiero trasmitir. Luego viene un proceso de selección de formato, estrategia de color y de composición, que son los medios con los que me expreso. El tema es sólo una excusa para expresar esa emoción: naturalezas muertas o interiores, como evidencia del ser humano en interacción con el entorno; paisajes, jardines y flores o contándote historias con figuras en distintas situaciones de la vida cotidiana.
Pinto mis cuadros para ti, no para mí, y es un honor para mí que ellos estén en tu casa y los disfrutes.
I love teaching how to paint, I’m a vocational teacher: I had students of the whole world in Chile and in Spain. Nowadays, I offer private classes.
Since April 2014, I head the blog cristinadelrosso.blogspot.com in which I tell you stories about the world of painting and its artists.
The starting point is always an emotion I want to transmit to you. It’s followed by a process of format selection, color and composition strategy, which are the means I express myself with. The topic is just an excuse to share that emotion: still lives or interiors, as evidence of human beings interacting with their surroundings; landscapes, gardens and flowers or telling you stories with figures in different situations of the everyday life.
I paint for you, not for me, and it'd be an honor to me if they are in your home and then you enjoy them.
